Through a press conference in the National Palace of the Dominican Republic, Grupo Invercan announced the investment of 85 million dollars in the construction of a new hotel in Uvero Alto.
The construction of this new complex, designed for family tourism, will add 502 rooms to the more than 2000 that the Group has generated over its seven years of operations in the country.
This is a major commitment by the Group to have a positive impact not only on tourism in the country but also in other highly linked to it such as agriculture, livestock, construction, transportation and especially in employment sectors where They are intended to create 700 direct jobs.
In the press conference was attended also by the Head of State Danilo Medina, and the director of the Center for Export and Investment of the Dominican Republic, Jean Alain Rodriguez, Founder Group President, Enrique Martinón Armas, Enrique Martinón Garcia (President of group), Fernando Arencibia (Vice President), Fernando Escribano (Secretary and Legal director) and Alvaro Peña (president of Codelpa, construction of the hotel).
